2018 WCA Conference--May 18th-20th, Hilton Garden Inn, Casper WY
We are happy to announce our featured speakers for this year's conference, Dr. John Mulholland and Dr. Bev Harger! These popular speakers will provide important and relevant CE sessions on radiology and adjustment technique.
Dr. Harger will be addressing the importance of knowing imaging algorithms and understanding when imaging has a role in establishing diagnosis. She is a chiropractic radiologist with more than 28 years of clinical experience and graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Western States (UWS) in 1987. In 1992, she completed her radiology residency at UWS and attained her diplomate status from the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology. She is a professor and director of the MS in diagnostic imaging as well as the clinical radiologist for UWS. Dr. Harger holds memberships in the ACA Council on Diagnostic Imaging and the American Chiropractic College of Radiology. She was named the UWS Outstanding Faculty in 2013.
Dr. Jon Mulholland will be providing a hands-on workshop called "A Joint-by-Joint Approach to Assess and Treat Back and Leg Injuries". He is a sports chiropractor and strength coach who has helped athletes with injury recovery and performance enhancement. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Ithaca College in 1996, and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2000. Additionally, he has post-graduate certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). In addition to being the owner/operator of Ideal Athlete Chiropractic in Plattsburgh, NY, Dr. Mulholland has also acted as the Chiropractic Consultant for the US Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY and has traveled extensively as one of the team chiropractors for the US Bobsled and Skeleton Teams. He has worked multiple World Chamionship events in a variety of sports, and has treated athletes from dozens of different countries. He was also the Sports Medicine and Performance Enhancement consultant for the New Zealand Cycling Teams at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, where he helped the team win two Olympic medals.
In addition, a CPR re-certification will be offered as well as an additional class specifically for CA's and support staff. More info will be available soon on sessions, receptions, sponsors, etc. Registration portal for the conference will be live on Feb. 1st, 2018!
