2019 WCA Conference--May 17th-19th, Jackson Lake Lodge, Moran, WY
We are happy to announce our featured speakers for this year's conference, Dr. John Mulholland and Dr. Kristina Petrocco-Napuli! These popular speakers will provide important and relevant CE sessions on women’s health issues, chronic pain and cutting edge techniques such as RockTape blades, pods and flossing!
Dr. Kristina Petrocco-Napuli - After completing her chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC), Dr. Petrocco-Napuli began a postdoctoral fellowship in technique at New York Chiropractic College. She also achieved a master's degree in Instructional Design, Development and Evaluation from Syracuse University. She is a professor Logan University and adjunct faculty at NYCC.
She currently serves as President of the ACA Women's Health Council. Recently, in recognition of her service to the profession, she was elected a Fellow in the International College of Chiropractors.
Women’s health, especially related to natural healthcare plans, has been Dr. Petrocco-Napuli's focus for more than two decades. She has been actively involved in research related to pelvic pain in females and has authored both clinical and educational articles on this topic. Her practice and research centers on chronic pain in the female population, lower extremity amputees and gait, and integrative collaborative practices.
Dr. Jon Mulholland - Dr. Mulholland will be providing a hands-on workshop introducing RockTape blades, pods and flossing. He is a sports chiropractor and strength coach who has helped athletes with injury recovery and performance enhancement. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Ithaca College in 1996, and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2000. Additionally, he has post-graduate certifications as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). In addition to being the owner/operator of Ideal Athlete Chiropractic in Plattsburgh, NY, Dr. Mulholland has also acted as the Chiropractic Consultant for the US Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY and has traveled extensively as one of the team chiropractors for the US Bobsled and Skeleton Teams. He has worked multiple World Chamionship events in a variety of sports, and has treated athletes from dozens of different countries. He was also the Sports Medicine and Performance Enhancement consultant for the New Zealand Cycling Teams at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, where he helped the team win two Olympic medals.
